General Assembly
Maata-N-Tudu
Association has the general
assembly as the highest policy making body. This comprises of a
representative of each member group. The general assembly is held once
every year.
Board of Trustees
The Board
of Trustees is the next highest
body. It is the governing body of the association. The Board of
Trustees consists of 14 members. Eight of them are elected by and from
within the membership, and 6 are appointed on the basis of their
qualifications (two per region). The following officers of the
Association are members of the board. The President, Vice president,
treasurer, vice-treasurer, one representative from each of the three
regions and seven other individual members nominated for their skills,
experience and interest in promoting the interest of women are members
of the board. The Executive Secretary, a staff member, and the
immediate past president, if any, are ex-officio members.
